Damn, another update! I never thought I'd see the day. Subnet
finally got on my case about not uploading any Counter-Strike
Demos here to the site, so I finally uploaded one. I thought
I had a few more from NC-17, but I don't see them in my download
folder for Demobot, so NC, send them again you filthy woman!
Beware, the CS Demo is almost 10 megs in size...so put on
your downloading shorts and jump in!
Make
that 2 new demos, we have a demo of a cheat in CS sent in
by Subnet. I would have seen it the first time if his lazy
ass would have named it something other than "feel.zip".

figured I'd throw up some demos from the recent CPL
Europe Event that took place last weekend. We had a new
winner this time, somebody that ousted the normal top players
fatal1ty and LakermaN, and that somebody is b100.death. A big
congrats out to him for coming out on top after being ranked
102 in the initial rankings for this tournament. Demos are in
the Q3 Demos section, and you will need to make sure you have
the hub3tourney1 map which
you can grab here. Enjoy! |

I
was talking to my feathered friend Chicken today and he reminded
me that QRec, the Demo Recording program for Quake, Quake2,
Quake3, and Kingpin has just been updated to a new version.
This little program does a lot of stuff that makes it handy
to know what demo was recorded when, and when you took the
Screenshots you took. Make sure you visit Otser's
site and check out all the stuff he has to offer.
In
other news, I'm still waiting for somebody to send me any
Counter-Strike Demos that may be out there. I know you people
have some demos, but I'm not sure why you're not sending them
to me. Anyhow, make sure you send them over and I'll upload
them. You can also DCC the demos to Demobot in #demohaus on
any ETG
server. Chow!

the same great programmer who created the Demoplayer for Q3
Demos has done it again. This time he's created a Demoplayer
for the game that everybody is playing now, Counter-Strike.
If you check out the Counter-Strike
Demo's section, you will be able to grab the Demoplayer
from the link at the top right. Make sure you visit the Geekboys
site for any information regarding this Demoplayer or for
upcoming releases.
Also,
you may notice that our Counter-Strike Demo section is nice
and empty, well that is because I don't play Counter-Strike,
but since people at Smackdown
do, I was hoping they would send me some demos. If you have
any demos you want to submit, feel free to submit them to
me and I will put them up.

have finally gotten around to adding the ICS How-To for Bridged
DSL and Cable Modem connections to the Site. You can find the
write up in the Articles section, so be sure to head over there
and check it out. I have a few condumps that I need to edit
and add to the page, but I really haven't found the time to
do it. I had to really sit down and make myself write this how-to
for the ICS in Win2K, I guess I'm just getting lazier in my
older age. Anyhow, if you have any ideas of stuff you want to
see here, or any demos that you want to add to the site, by
all means, send them in! |
